Hello everyone!
In our School Council meetings, we try and think of ways to keep making our school the best school! We know you have the suggestion books in your classrooms where you can write down all your ideas, and we’ve been sharing these in meetings, but it can be hard to find time in our busy days to write in the book.
So we came up with the great idea of a school blog! We all love writing comments on the website so thought it would be an easy way for you to share your ideas. Please write down any suggestions you have and then we can reply to you here!

Wow! Thank you Miss Carruthers for this blog. I think it’s a great idea to get everyone’s ideas and thoughts about how to make our school the best school. It’s a great opportunity for everyone to have a voice in the school.
Maybe we should have cookies and sushi on the lunch menu.
Maybe we could have mirrors in the girl’s bathroom.
We could also have scrambled EGGS and beans on toast once a year- maybe for EASTER.
I love PSHE so maybe we could have more of that.
I think an option of a second serving would be great as sometimes the food served is not sufficient for some of us.
Some of my classmates will definitely second me on that one. 😋😋
Is it possible to get warm water to drink during these cold winter days?
Can we get hot dogs for lunch? And an option of pork free hot dogs too! And ketchup! 🌭🌭 😋
I think when we have Christmas lunch,after we finish we can decorate ginger-bread -man,for desert.
Ice cream whith sprinkles on top✅
