To our St. Vincent’s family,
We are always here for you, even when you are not in the school building. You are used to using Worry Boxes in school. This is another version of the Worry Box, but online so you can contact us form wherever you are, whatever time it is.   If there is anything worrying you, please  post it below. We won’t publish your name but we may publish what is worrying you anonymously and we will try to find a solution which we will publish so you can read it-and this might also help others who are feeling the same way. You are not alone.
Please remember you can always talk to any of the trusted adults in school as well.

Together through Christ we grow and learn

If you need to speak to someone on the phone you can always call Childline who will listen and try to help.

  1. I borrowed a book from the school library and it makes me scared because it it talking about kidnappers, unkind kings, death and murdering. I thought the book was interesting because it had a lovely front cover but now the book made me feel worried.

Thank you for sharing your worries. I will come and find you later to see the actual book so please bring it into school. Remember the book is fiction (not true) so it is not reality. There is a saying, ‘Never judge a book by it’s cover’, so remember to read the blurb and find our more about a book to check it is suitable before choosing it to read.

  3. Miss Coleman 2 days ago my frog sadly passed away and I am really sad about it and she was my best pet in my life. I really miss her and her name was Emily but then we buried her.

Don’t worry-the most important thing is that you are in school and learning. Try to find ways to help you to remember your books-you could pack your school bag the evening before, or ask your big sisters to remind you. As you get older you will hopefully become more organised and independent.

  7. I felt worried because didn’t know if I was in chess club.

Remember that you can always speak to the adults in school if you have any worries.

It is normal to feel nervous before a performance, especially with such a big audience, but you didn’t need to worry-you were fabulous!
