Hello Year 1!

I have been very pleased to see how hard you are working! In your home learning pack there are your spelling words to learn. Look at the second week – the words begin with full and rope   or  by and our. 

All words are taken from the Year 1 and Year 2 spelling list.

    Mr and Mrs Brown were at the beach and had some orange juice with ice cubes and then had some biscuits and dug a hole in which there was a rope and a magic stone.

    Mr and Mrs Cube were made from stone. The lived in a house full of rope. They wrote a note about a bone they found on the beach.

  13. Mr and Mrs Stone found a magic rope in their garden. Next to the rope was a piece of paper and it had some instructions for the rope. It said they had to ask the rope what they wanted and at the end they had to say “please”. They asked for a cube and a flute and then they found a note saying,

    Dear Mr and Mrs Stone, I am giving this magic rope to you. It can also take you to anywhere you want if you say “please” and “thank you”. Love from your cousin Bella.

    They asked the rope to take them to the Museum and when they arrived at the Museum, they found a huge bone!

    After they went to the Museum, they went to the cafe for a nice cup of tea.
