  1. Yes, I do think Jesus is the ‘bread of life’ because in John 6:25- 35 Jesus said, ” I am the bread of life!” Also because during the Last Supper Jesus gave bread to his disciples saying, “This is my body broken for you, eat it and remember me each time you do.”

All my family agrees that Christ is the ‘bread of life’.

  2. Thank you Jade-it is great to hear that you discussed this with your family and found a passage in the Bible!

  3. During the Last Supper, Jesus refers himself to the bread that he gives his disciples so that he would be with them forever as soon later he was crucified. Since Jesus referred himself to the “Bread of Life” every time we take it, we feel more in touch with Jesus, therefore I think that Jesus is the “Bread of Life”.

  4. Thank you Haleema for such a thoughtful reply. Miss Gorick 🙂

  7. In the last supper, Jesus referred himself as the “bread of life” so when he was crucified, the disciples would know that He was with them. We now remember Jesus and feel closer to Him whenever we take communion. We also know that Jesus is always with us whenever we need help.
All my family agrees that Jesus is the “Bread of Life.”

  8. Jesus refers to himself as the bread of life. Bread was essential to live in those times , so Jesus uses the term ‘Bread of Life’ as a metaphor to say that he is essential to living a good , spiritual life. and the rest of my family agree.

  15. I do think think Jesus is, ” The Bread Of Life ” because in many gospels and passages Jesus referrers himself to the bread of life
for example, in John 6:35 it says, “And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life, he who comes to me shall never hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst.”
Therefore I think that, “Jesus Is The Bread Of Life “

  16. I think Jesus is the bread of life as he refers the bread as his body during the Last Supper. This is to remind us of him each time we take communion. Luke 22:19 says “This is my body which is given for you. Do this in memory of me. “

  17. Jesus said, ‘The bread of God is the bread of Heaven, which gives life to the world. He then said, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry.’
This shows that Jesus really is the bread of life, and we have the Holy Bread at communion symbolically to remember him.
