I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
As you know Miss Travers is in school so it is still me (Miss Lee) doing your blogs for now. I really loved seeing your fantastic work last week and I am looking forward to seeing some more! I know Miss Travers is very proud of you all. Today your phonics for the week has been uploaded and it is the same phonics that other children will be doing in class. I wonder how many sentences we can think of using this week’s sounds?

    The royal toy

    There once was a princess called Joy. Joy loved to eat soy sauce with rice. She didn’t get annoyed much. People were very loyal to her because she was from the Royal Family. They gave her lots of new toys. She quite enjoyed talking to the boy. She saw a buoy in the sea. The End.

    “Cinderella’s Royal Ball”
    Once upon a time there was a girl named Cinderella. Cinderella’s favourite toy was a castle. Everyday Cinderella would clean and clean. But all she wanted was to meet a boy to bring joy to her life. One day she was invited to a royal ball. At the royal ball she met the prince. They had some oysters then they danced the whole night long. The other girls were annoyed because they wanted to have a chance ti dance with the prince. Cinderella enjoyed the night, In fact it was the best night ever. Cinderella and the prince lived happily ever after. THE END.

    Excellent sentences everyone! We did the oy sound today in class too! We wrote some stories and sentences. I wrote a sentence on our whiteboard. It said, ‘The boy was very annoyed because he didn’t want to have a bath!’

    Once their was a girl called Joy. She loves sharing Her toys . One day her friend came over to play . When she came over she shared some of her toys and then they played hide and seek. She really enjoyed playing with her friend. Before her friend went home , her friend stole one of Joy’s toys . Joy was really annoyed. To say sorry Joy’s friend got her a new toy.

    Once a bird sat on a fir tree. A girl fairy wearing a green shirt and skirt flew up the to him. It was her birthday! She lit a fire in the badgers lair for her bbq party. There was a present that was a circle shape. The fairy had so much fun at her party with her friends the bird and badger!

    Bellas birthday

    It was Bellas birthday. In the morning she woke up and opened all her presents one of them was was a pink shirt. The next one she opened was a skirt. Later all her friends came to have a party at her house. It was a unicorn party and she was turning seven. They played pass the parcel in a circle and then they played musical statues . In the afternoon they had some cake and then they went home .After a big day Bella had a rest.

    “Cinderella’s First Baby’s Birthday”
    Cinderella and the prince had their first baby a girl named Regina. Regina had first birthday party in the castle. Regina wore a pink shirt and a sparkly purple skirt. At her birthday party they coloured some shapes like a circle, a triangle and a square. One of the kids accidentally spilled some paint on her shoes and for them dirty. Regina and her friends danced together and did a nice big twirl. Regina was tired of twirling so she asked Cinderella if she could have some water because she was thirsty. At the party they had a circus presentation and Regina thought it was bit weird that the clown had a red nose much bigger than his face. Instead of a birthday cake she had thirty cupcakes. Regina had a lovely birthday. THE END.

    A Day in the Circus –

    On Tuesday, I went to the circus. Firstly, I saw a girl playing with fire.
    Secondly, I saw a bird sit on the girls head.Thirdly, the girl squirted water all over the boy. Then, we had to leave and my mum bought me chocolate twirl.

    Once Sue went on a rescue. She found some clues that were true! They were blue, glue and in a queue. Sue wrote a story for the news, it was due on Monday. On the way home she put fuel in her car.

    I’m glad you liked my story from yesterday. I’ve been working very hard and researching words with the daily sound that I could use to create my stories.
    Daily sound: ue
    Words with the daily sound: blue, glue, clue, true, cruel, value, tissue, issue, avenue, rescue, Emanuel, Samuel.
    Story with the daily sound:
    “The Sticky Blue Glue”
    Emanuel and Samuel were two brother that lived in a big blue house at Avenue Rescue. One day they went outside and they saw some sticky blue glue everywhere. Emanuel tried to clean the glue with some tissue paper but he ended up glued instead. “Samuel, help! I’m stuck in the glue! It’s true!” Emanuel shouted. Oh, no! That was a big issue. Samuel had to think for a little bit but he didn’t have a clue of what to do. Suddenly he had an idea: he was going to use the vacuum cleaner to suck the glue away. Samuel’s idea worked and Emanuel got free from the sticky blue glue.
    THE END.

    Yesterday I forgot to do my phonics so I am going to do it today.

    The Mystery.

    One day Bella and Zack went for a walk in the garden when they some sticky, slimy blue glue. How did it get there?Bella wondered. They asked everyone if they had dropped it but not a single person had. That afternoon Two men walked around the block and then one went went to steal a puppy while the other man distracted Bella and Zack. Then Zack noticed the other man running away with the puppy.Then Bella ran up to the man and Bella asked “did you steal that puppy? “The man said “no” Bella didn’t know if he was telling the truth and then Zack whispered to Bella “the man did steal the puppy”. Bella snatched the puppy and then she took him home.

    A big day

    Ella and Lucy we are having a sleepover Bella has a new dog with black paws . Her name was Lola .First Bella and Lucy were going to draw a picture of a flower but a picture of a instead they drew a picture of a dog. For lunch they had some prawns and chips and then they played with Lola. They yawned so they had a little nap. They played in the garden for the rest of the day and then it was dinner time. After dinner they brushed their teeth ,they read a book and then they went to sleep.

    Story with the daily sound:
    “Sawyer’s lost dog”
    Sawyer yawned in the morning and she decided to have a milkshake with a straw. Then she wanted to draw a portrait of her dog Scamp bur she realised he was missing! So she went outside to look for him. She saw some paw marks on the lawn. She followed them and she saw… Scamp being chased by a hawk with big claws! She crawled down and saved Scamp from the nasty hawk. When they got home she gave a nice bath on Scamp and she could finally make her drawing of Scamp.

    The yawn at dawn!

    Once a hawk did a yawn at dawn! The hawk saw a fawn crawling with its paws on the straw that got put on the lawn. Then the hawk saw a prawn so she dived down to get it. The prawn had little claws to draw with so the prawn drew on the hawk! The End.
