Our current Religious Education topic is ‘Birthdays.’
We have been learning about how birthdays are a special time to celebrate and the things we do to celebrate.
Sunday 28th November 2021 marked the first Sunday of advent this year. We have been learning that advent is when people get ready for the birthday of Jesus at Christmas. During advent we have special advent candles we light as we prepare for Jesus’ birthday.
We each wrote our own advent promise and thought about how we would get ready for Jesus’ birthday.
We are excited to continue our learning in class about the Christmas story!
