This past week we celebrated Anti Bullying Week as a school. The theme was to reach out. We really enjoyed focusing on how to stop bullying and instead, spread kindness to others. We had multiple assemblies where we learned lots of information about online safety and different ways to reach out for help. We wrote a classroom pledge and promised to make sure we were letting everyone join in at break, using kind words to our friends, and practicing our manners with everyone. We even had a history lesson on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and how he was known for standing up for himself and others, as well as spreading kindness. We really enjoyed spreading kindness all around the school, and will continue to do this throughout the year!
