St. Vincent’s is now closed for the Christmas holidays and we hope that you all enjoy a very merry Christmas! As a Catholic school this is a really special time for us to gather with our loved ones and thank God for the gift of Jesus.

Thank you

Thank you for your support throughout this term. Despite the challenging circumstances it has been an absolute joy to be back in school with your children and the St. Vincent’s Parents Association has done a tremendous job of finding creative ways to celebrate Christmas. The final week in particular was full of festive fun! Thank you to every parent who has supported these initiatives. We feel very blessed.

Thank you also for your generous gifts and cards. Your kind messages have touched us all and are very much appreciated. The best gift is all is that our St. Vincent’s family remains well and healthy.

Coronavirus Contact Procedures

We hope you and your families continue to remain well. If not, please see our Coronavirus page for guidance, including the form we need you to complete and please contact the school.

School leaders are expected to remain on call for the first six days of the school holidays to assist with Track and Trace if necessary. If your child develops COVID symptoms within 48 hours of being in school and tests positive, or if they are asymptomatic and have a positive test within 48 hrs of being in school, please follow the procedure below:

  • If your child tests positive, you must contact office@stvincentsprimary.org.uk   We will then assist in identifying close contacts and instructing self-isolation where necessary, as your child may have been infectious whilst in school

After Thursday 24th December you should follow contact tracing instructions provided by NHS Test and Trace.

We hope you have a restful and peaceful Christmas holiday. Wishing you all the best for 2021!
