Year 3 had a lovely time celebrating the coronation, in preperation for the actual day tomorrow! We started off with a lovely whole school assembly where we learned about what the coronation is and how important it is for our country. For lunch, we enjoyed a fabulous picnic on the roof, complete with tasty sandwiches! It started raining, but we did not let that get us down, as we got to spend the rest of lunchtime playing fun games in class!
Later in the day, we each designed a throne for King Charles III. We needed to incorporate modern technology into our design. Some of us chose to add LED lights, some chose to have a heater, and some even chose to add a mini fridge to theirs! We had a great time presenting our creative ideas to the class! Well done Year 3, for your innovative ideas!
I loved lunchtime on the roof -it was so fun. I also loved designing our throne for the king.
The coronation day at school was sooo much fun but my favourite bit was definitely the picnic on the roof because the food was extremely delicious.🥪🤤
