This morning, a team of 22 runners from Years 3 to 6 took part in the Westminster Cross Country Tournament in Regents Park. Year 3 and 4 children ran a distance of 1km and Years 5 and 6 had to run 1.5km.
All of our runners did their absolute best, completed the course and displayed wonderful behaviour, team work and sportsmanship.
There was tough competition, but the team brought home one gold medal, two bronze medals, one silver team certificate and one bronze team certificate! What a brilliant achievement. Well done to the whole Cross Country Team. You should be very proud of yourselves.
Cross country looked fun. Well done to everyone who participated and especially the people that came first, second and third -you should very proud of yourself.
The crosscountry was so much fun .
I enjoyed the cross country race and it was fun as I got a chance to race against other schools.I am also very proud of the people in our school that participated and my friends that came first, second and third. I am also happy of myself as I got 19th place out of loads of people and maybe I can do better next time.
For over all I loved the cross country race and thank you to all the adults that took us there.
Cross Country was very fun! The only thing I did not
like during running is that my shoulders were hurting me. I want to say well done to the people that came 1st 2nd 3 or 4th.Also thank you teachers and parents for bringing us to Regents park.
