Today, we took a team of excited pupils from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 to compete in cross country races at Regent’s Park against other schools across Westminster. The races were divided into 4 categories:

Years 3 and 4 Boys: 1km

Years 3 and 4 Girls: 1km

Years 5 and 6 Boys: 1.5km

Years 5 and 6 Girls: 1.5km

The children performed incredibly well and they have done us all extremely proud! They supported each other and cheered each other over the finish line.

We will hear about our confirmation for our team results once all the results have been calculated by the Westminster Schools Sports Team. Finger crossed that we get some medals sent in the post!

Well done St Vincent’s! We’re extremely proud of all of you!

  2. Cross country was AMAZING!!!!! I am a year 5 girl so I was the first race that ran 1.5 kilometres. Everyone gave it their hardest and did amazing!!!!! I got 15th and according to google my race had well over 100 runners! I am so proud of everyone for trying their hardest and giving a go! It was also really long and hard. This year our school got a runner in top 3 ( she was in the year 5/6 race and she got 3d ) but most importantly everyone actually came! Thank you to our teachers for helping us make this happen!!!

  3. After cross country I was very tired but I had fun with my friends .

Cross-country was fantastic I thought that was quite long but in my opinion the best part was lunch . I’m happy that I went though ,all that really matters was that everyone tried their hardest and ran .1/5km is not very easy you know!
