Class 5 have been working very hard in their German lessons, so we created a film to celebrate their learning. We have learnt about the differences and similarities between school in Germany and school in England. We have learnt the names of the subjects and the names of places in the school. Then we recapped from prior learning how to say ‘I like’ in German (Ich mag) and then learned the tricky grammar for adding a reason. Then, we used the German dictionaries to find adjectives to use in our reasons. Finally we used all of our grammar and vocabulary to create our own sentences.
