This term Year 1 have been discovering and learning about the world! We are so curious about the world and have spent lots of time talking about where we are from, and looking at different countries on a globe and world map.
We have looked at all of the different continents and are able to name the 7 continents of the world. We also know that there are 5 oceans and we can put them on a map. We know that the Pacific Ocean is the biggest ocean in the world! We have talked about what the equator is, and how that relates to hot and cold areas around the world. We have found our learning so interesting so far, and can’t wait to learn some more Geography next term!
