Today, ten girls from Years 5 and 6 represented St. Vincent’s at the Westminster Girls’ Football Tournament.

All of the girls played fantastically. Lots of goals were scored and we were undefeated all through the group stage and the semi final. We were thrilled to make it all the way through to the final, which we sadly lost on penalties after a 0-0 draw.

Although the team were disappointed, it was a great achievement to come second out of a total of 20 schools and they should all be very proud of their resilience, stamina and teamwork  as well as their excellent football skills.
