Today Nursery had their very first visit to Sea Life the aquarium to consolidate our learning for the β€˜Under the Sea’ topic we have been learning this half term!

After we got ready at school with our bags and yellow jackets we set off on our trip! We first had to walk to Portman Square to get on the bus to the aquarium. We drove past lots of lovely London sites on the way! We saw the lions at Trafalgar Square, the horses near where the prime minister lives, Big Ben and the London Eye.

Next it was time to enter the aquarium! We had such a fun time walking through the aquarium! We saw sharks, stingrays, starfish, jellyfish, giant turtles, penguins and so many different types of fish! It was so exciting to see the animals we had learnt about in real life. All of the different aquarium enclosures were so pretty as well, with lots of coral, lights and interesting sounds.

After the Aquarium it was time to have lunch so we walked to Jubilee Gardens and sat down under the London Eye for our lunch. Soon after the seagulls started descending so we decided to walk back to the bus and come back to school. We had a few snoozes on the bus and then a slow walk back to school. We spent the afternoon having a second lunch and doing some relaxing! I am sure everyone will be very tired tonight.

What a fun day at the aquarium! I hope all of Nursery had fun too!
