This half term, Green Team have been busy getting involved with an exciting project called the ‘Children’s Book Project.’

We are collecting lots of books for disadvantaged children and we would love for you to bring in any unwanted books to school.

This week, we had the opportunity to speak in assembly to promote this project with everyone. In our Green Team meeting on Tuesday, we met with Anna from QPR who is leading the Children’s Book Project. She talked with us about how we were getting on with promoting the project so far and we arranged our next meeting with her. We designed some posters together for our book drop off point in our school walkway.

Thank you to those families who have donated some books already! Please continue bringing in as many books as you can.

Our book donation is being collected next week and the deadline to bring in your books is Monday 25th March.

Thanks for your support!

  1. I’ve got an idea of what book I could bring for the Green Team’s ‘ bring in a book.’ I definitely appreciate what they are doing.
