Today we enjoyed celebrating World Mental Health Day in Reception!

This is an important day to talk about mental health and show everyone that mental health matters. It’s also a day to let people know that it’s okay to ask for help, no matter what you’re going through.

In Reception we have been busy thinking about people in our life who we can talk to if we are feeling worried or sad.

We completed a ‘Helping Hand’ activity. We each chose five people who are close to us that we could talk to. We drew around our hands, cut them out, and drew a picture of each of them on each finger. This will help us to remember the special people in our lives that we can always talk to and share our feelings with.

We enjoyed talking and sharing all of ideas today!

Reception, can you remember your five chosen people?
