Key Stage 2 treated us this afternoon to their wonderful Christmas Celebration at St. James’s Church.
They retold the nativity story through music, songs and Bible readings, as well as leading us in prayer. The orchestra played magnificently to open the event and Year 3 played some wonderful songs on the recorder. There was so much fantastic singing – well done to the soloists, chamber choir and all of KS2 for singing so beautifully and enthusiastically.
Well done Key Stage 2! You have really put us in the Christmas spirit and brought joy to everyone with your singing!

The Christmas celebration was really fun. Thanks to all the teachers for helping all the children ready such as Mr Kersys, Mr Garnet, Miss Siswick, Mr Hilton and Miss Carruthers for when Miss Siswick was off sick.
I really liked seeing and hearing Year Three play an amazing tune on their recorders, I can’t wait to do that next year. I really liked the solos because they sounded like professionals!
This was one of the best moments of my life! I enjoyed this so much even though I was very nervous at first.
The Christmas celebration was wonderful . I think KS2 did an excellent job . I enjoyed singing my solo and I hope everyone has a good Christmas!🎄

I really loved this Christmas celebration because it was my first time on the altar performing with choir. Great job year four for all your great acting.

I had so much fun at the Christmas Celebration!!! It was quite tricky learning all of the songs, especially since I also had to learn 2 extra ones for Chamber Choir.
