This week, our focus in maths has been all about measurement.
We have learnt the difference between centimetres and metres and can compare the two with ease! We have looked at estimating whether things are > or < 1m, ensuring to use the correct mathematical language when doing so. We have then been able to check our estimates, as we have measured different lengths with tape measures, checking whether they are greater than, or less than 1m (which we know is equivalent to 100cm). This was great fun for us, as we worked with our partners to check the length of our armspan and other objects around the classroom.
