We hope you are enjoying a relaxing half term holiday and a well deserved rest.

We know times are difficult at the moment so please see below for some ideas for fun, free activities taking place this week. Westminster City Council continues to fund local organisations to provide free half-term activities and healthy food for children and young people in Westminster – October, February & May Half Terms 2023/24

This provision allows vulnerable children and young people to access enriching activities such as Sports Camps, Music, Dance, Arts and Crafts, Adventure Play, Youth Clubs and Offsite Trips during half-term holidays. Participants also receive a free healthy meal each day they attend.

If you are looking for other activities please visit a local library and read as many books as you can. We always love reading at St. Vincent’s!

Don’t forget to enter the Howard de Walden Estate Christmas Card Competition. This year’s theme is ‘Christmas – around the world’.

See entry requirements below:

– Entries to be submitted on A4 paper

– Entries should be hand drawn (no computerised images)

– Entries should be sent in as flat drawings (not as an already-made card)

– There should be at least 20 entries from your school

– Please include the school, name and age (not school year) are on the reverse of each design

Closing Date for entries: Monday 30th October

Categories: 5 years and under / 6-9 years / 10 and above

Winners will be invited to accept an award on stage at the annual Merry Marylebone Christmas Lights Switch On which will be taking place on Thursday 9th November between 3pm – 8pm.
