Lots of us were so excited for our school trip today. We woke up very early and arrived at school by 7:45am, ready for our adventure to Broadstairs. Once everyone had arrived and the register had been taken, we found our partners and made our way onto the coach. The journey took around two hours, but we were all very excited and enjoyed looking out of the windows. We were very lucky as our route took us along the coast, which meant we got to see the beautiful sea before we arrived and parked up at Broadstairs.

When we arrived, we enjoyed a lovely picnic together and sat in the sunshine to eat our lunches. We then made our way down to the beach, which was very busy and beautifully warm. We were so lucky to have such wonderful weather and had a fantastic time enjoying the seaside. We spent time exploring the beach, where we discovered lots of interesting things, including shells, crabs, shrimp, seaweed and some very cool rocks.

After this, we had the chance to enjoy the sand and create our own sandcastles. We worked together with our friends and had lots of fun building and decorating our creations. It was amazing to see all the different things we discovered along the way.

We then headed into the sea to paddle and jump over the waves. It was such an exciting experience, and many of us ended up getting very wet! We had lots of fun splashing around and enjoying the water.

After our time at the beach, we enjoyed some delicious ice creams, which were the perfect treat on such a hot day. We were very excited to relax after such a busy and enjoyable day, and many of us had a little nap on the coach journey home.

We had such a brilliant day at Broadstairs and made lots of special memories together.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Miss Carruthers for organising such a wonderful trip and to all the parent volunteers who came along to help. We would also like to thank the SVPA for funding our trip and making this fantastic experience possible. We had an amazing day!
