Today, Year 6 welcomed Year 2 to our child-led worship session for the first time.

This week’s child led worship team prepared a beautiful worship session for us all and it was so special for us all to worship God with our partner class this morning.

We gathered together to hear the word of God from Matthew 8: 23-27. Our Mission this week is to help someone who needs it which is a lovely link to our Anti-Bullying activities.

We also heard about the Saint for November 15th, St Albert the Great, a German saint who lived in the 13th Century. He loved Science because he loved learning all about God’s beautiful world.

Thank you for sharing our worship with us today, Year 2. We are looking forward to worshipping with you again soon.

Paired worship with year 2 was really fun as we sang together. I really enjoyed year 2 coming to our class and I can’t wait to do it next week.

As I led the worship I found it amazing and I hope that year 2 enjoyed it. We sang songs as well and it really put a smile on everyone’s face. Thank you Year 2 for coming to our class.

Paired worshipping is an amazing idea! Alexandra told me all about it. She is looking forward to this again. Thank you SV for organising.

  4. Thank you so much for having us, Year 6! You prepared a beautiful paired worship session that linked so nicely to this week’s theme of anti-bullying. We enjoyed the time to sit quietly and reflect on the word and our mission and have been trying our best to help those in need. We are really looking forward to our next session together.
