This week during our personal, social and emotional learning, we focused on the theme that we are all different.

During the session, we learnt that we all have different tastes (likes and dislikes) but also similar needs. We also learnt that it is natural for us to relate to and trust one another.

We began the session by sharing our likes and dislikes with each other and talked about how we are all different and we can like different things.

We listened to a story about Mollie the Cat and how she felt bad because she didn’t like catching mice. After having some help from her friends and reassurance that is okay to be different, Mollie felt happy again.

After our talk, in groups, we spent some time sharing our likes and dislikes, building on the message that we are all different. It was fun comparing our likes and dislikes with our friends!
