This week in RE we have been learning about the Garden of Gethsemane. We started by recapping the knowledge we had learned in Year 2 about the Last Supper and how Jesus knew he was going to be betrayed. Next we read about the problem Peter faced, based off Mark 14. We had some very interesting discussions about why Peter remained silent when Jesus was arrested.
We acted out each scene from the Garden in freeze frames in our groups. After this, we wrote a diary entry from Peter’s perspective about what happened the night he denied Jesus.
Good acting Year 3 and super diary entries! Very impressive.
Writing the diary entry and making a freeze frame about the Garden of Gethsamane that was so good. Making freeze fames are one of my favourite I hope we get to do some of those in our subjects.
