Continuing with our Topic of Celebrations around the World, Reception learnt about Chinese New Year!
We read a book all about how a family celebrates this special time, and their trip to a parade where the streets are filled with red lanterns. Reception loved talking about all the new things we could see in the story. It was so fun to learn so many new ways people celebrate around the world!
As a class we wanted to create and decorate our own lanterns, here are some pictures of the creative process 🙂 when all the lanterns are completed they will hang brightly in our classroom.
