In our Religious Education topic ‘Good News’, we have been recalling the Good News of Easter when Jesus rose from the dead and also sharing good news of our own.
We learnt that after Jesus went up to to Heaven, he gave the gift of the Holy Spirit to the disciples. This is called Pentecost.
We all pretended to be the disciples of Jesus. We were very sad when Jesus went up to Heaven and then very happy when he sent us the Holy Spirit.
We each talked about why the disciples felt sad and then happy when the Holy Spirit came. Then we made fire collages to show that Jesus sent the Holy Spirit as fire at Pentecost.
How funny they can be with their little lovely faces and own words! A superb way to learn about Pentecost! Thanks again
