In our Religious Education topic ‘Good News’, we have been recalling the Good News of Easter when Jesus rose from the dead and also sharing good news of our own.
We learnt that after Jesus went up to to Heaven, he gave the gift of the Holy Spirit to the disciples. This is called Pentecost.
We used our fabulous phonics to write about the story in our own words.
Then we decorated our writing with fire colours to show that Jesus sent the Holy Spirit as fire at Pentecost.
