As lots of you may know last week all the children from St. Vincent’s who are in Years 1-6 voted for two options. The first option was more playground equipment and the second option was more challenging books-we have lots of both already in school but we always would like more! We love reading and we love being active. Sometimes voting can be difficult if there are two good choices and you can only choose one!
On Tuesday the School Council representatives for yrs 3 and 4 counted the votes and the result was:
More challenging books: 64 votes
More playground equipment: 81 votes
Which means that the winner was more playground equipment. Thank you to everyone for voting!
In this weeks meeting we voted to chose our Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer for school council.
Our Chairperson is Iggy from year 6, our Secretary is Elsa from year 6 and our Treasurer is Julia from Year 5.
