The Year 4, 5 & 6 swimming team represented St Vincent’s fantastically at the Westminster Swimming Gala.
There were ten teams from schools in Westminster and everyone took part in different races. There were individual races as well as some relays.
All the children showed wonderful sportsmanship and cheered everyone on brilliantly.
We were very proud to win medals in these races:
- Gold medal for Y4 boys freestyle relay
- Gold medal for Y4 boys backstroke race
- Bronze medal for Y4 girls backstroke race
- Bronze medal for Y4 boys breaststroke race
- Bronze medal for Y5 girls freestyle relay
- Bronze medal for Y5 boys freestyle race
- Bronze medal for Y5 girls freestyle race
- Bronze medal for Y5 girls medley race
- Bronze medal for Y5 girls butterfly race
- Bronze medal for Y6 girls freestyle relay
- Bronze medal for Y6 girls medley relay
- Silver medal for Y6 boys medley relay
- Gold medal for Y6 boys butterfly race
And even more proud that we came in third place overall! Well done everyone!

I loved the swimming gala! I really enjoyed doing the races and most importantly coming home with two bronze medals. I will never forget this tournament as it was my first time doing this tournament and I had fun too!
I am very proud of our school for the overall score as we got third.
