In RE, we’ve started our topic, ‘Ourselves’, and we’ve been using scripture to explore the qualities that make a peacemaker. We’re moving away from associating peacemakers as those who settle disputes and focusing on qualities such as forgiveness, patience, thoughtfulness etc. and how, as peacemakers, we can lead by example.

After studying Colossians 3 12:17 and how Paul is encouraging us all to be peacemakers, we thought about what this means in our own lives. The children role-played scenarios from their own experiences and we discussed the qualities demonstrated in each scene.
