This week we created our own piece of art inspired by the work of Jessica Warboys. She is inspired by different landscapes and used this to create her abstract art. We used her work to inspire us to choose colours based on different landscapes. We talked about the mood of each of the images, and the mood we would like when we created our own piece. These watercolours were then used to create a wash as our background. We used oil pastels to add detail to the foreground of our paintings.

It was a really good time to connect with our classmates 😊
Also to see how they draw and really be creative 🎨
But the best thing was that we worked as a team 🫂
