What an amazing day year 3 had celebrating World Book Day!
Everyone looked incredible in their costumes! Year 3 has been bringing their favourite books to school all week and we made a display so we could all enjoy them.
It was lovely to spend time in both year 1, and year 2 classrooms today to create some excellent writing pieces based on other novels from Julia Donaldson. Gabriella was kind enough to make every person in year 3 their very own bookmark to celebrate the day, thanks Gabriella! As a class we wrote a newspaper article to celebrate The Scarecrow’s Wedding and the children loved being able to share their work with their families at the end of the day.
