Today Year 3 got the change to visit Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park with the rest of Key Stage 2!
We had an excellent day…
The first ride we went on was the Jet ride. As we had just arrived we hadn’t seen the ride in motion yet…It turned out it went quite fast and even rocked you on your side! We were very dizzy when we got off but it was a brilliant start to our morning!
We then visited the magical ice kingdom which was full of amazing ice sculptures of mythical beasts and Christmas scenes! The statues were huge and we loved walking through each part. Inside it was -10°c to keep the ice from melting and it definitely felt like it! At the end we got the chance to sit on an ice throne and then go down a slide made out of real ice…
Next, we visited some fun houses where we had lots of fun exploring, climbing, sliding and stepping on lots of different moving parts.
Finally, for our last few rides we visited the Christmas tree ride, the helter skelter and the traditional swing ride. We had lots of fun spending time together as a class and going on all of the fun rides together with our friends (grown ups included!).

What was your favourite part of visiting Winter Wonderland?
I enjoyed going to Winter Wonderland! My favourite ride was the Helter Skelter and the Fun Houses we’ve been on together. I was scared on the first ride so I didn’t go on it because I would get dizzy😵💫
WOW! I hope you enjoyed all the rides that you went on in Winter Wonderland. All the rides looked so much fun( I bet you loved them all). I went on the ride Snow Jet too- I know, it makes you very dizzy. I hope our classes behaved enough to go again next year.
I enjoyed Winter Wonderland!!!! My favourite ride was the Helter Skelter and the fun houses in all of the fun houses we went on I did the splits and I liked the firs one in the first one my head was shaking around and Caspian was screaming so loud and holding me!!! Thank you Winter Wonderland for having us and thank you teachers for organising this amazing trip!!!!!
It was FUN and I loved the last ride. On the first ride I got so DIZZY ! I loved going to the ICE KINGDOM and the fun houses .Thank you to all the teachers who organised this FUN trip!

I loved all of the rides but my favourite ride was the snow jet because it went so fast and I love fast so much but I loved it more with Sophia.
