Straight after our class assembly this morning, Year 6 went to visit Marylebone Library.

Stephen, the librarian asked us all about the books that we enjoy reading. He then told us more about how the books are classified and how to find non fiction books about topics that interest us.  Stephen also explained how we can order a book in the Library if they don’t have the book that we are looking for and explained about the area in the Library that we can use to do our homework if we need a quiet space to work.

We then all chose a library book to take home and scanned them into the machine.

Some of us couldn’t wait to read the books as soon as we got back to school!

Many thanks to Stephen at Marylebone Library and also all of the parents who accompanied us.

Please look after your library books and return them to school to swap with other children until it is time to return them to the library on our next visit.
