Today I want you to use the spellings that you have been learning this week in your Home Learning packs.

There were lots of words with contractions and often people put the apostrophe in the wrong place, such as do’nt. Sometimes people add in an extra letter, such as coulden’t. I know you have been practising these all week, so you won’t be making any of these mistakes!!

Write me a paragraph with as many contractions as you can from the list in your Home Learning folders. Don’t forget to proof read your writing so that all your spelling and punctuation is correct. Good luck!
