Good Morning, Reception.

Well done with reading the tricky words yesterday. You can practice reading them here:https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ek8TVoLdJWY

Don’t forget to keep looking out for them when you are reading a range of  books.

Today, we are going to practice the digraph ‘ch’. A diagraph means two letters together which make one sound.

Practice saying the sound ‘ch’ and making the ‘ch’ action.

Can you read these ‘ch’ words?

Can you write these ‘ch’ words?

Challenge: Can you think of any more words beginning with ‘ch’?

Can you use the words in a sentence?

I know that some of you are missing Geraldine the Giraffe so here she is learning the ‘ch’ sound too!       https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OyrYDitif1o

I am looking forward to hearing all about your phonics today.

Love from Miss Siswick.
