Hello Year 4!

Just like our class the Romans loved to practice lots of different sports. As you know, many of the things people in ancient Rome could or couldn’t do depended on whether they were rich.

The rich of Rome really enjoyed playing and watching sports, but interestingly, sports was common among most of the Roman people, and sometimes even included animals!

For your homework this week:

Find out about 2 different sports the Romans practiced.

How did these sports help them to develop fitness and strength?

What kind of diet did the Romans have to help them stay fit and healthy?

Thank you for all of your responses so far and for your enthusiasm in class.

Don’t forget to complete your CGP Comprehension work, your English and Maths homework and remember to keep posting on the Wednesday Word and your reading reviews blog!

Mr. Kersys :).
