Good Morning Everyone

We are continuing our 5 Steps to Wellbeing this week and today our focus is:

Being aware of what is taking place in the present directly enhances your wellbeing. Whilst we are currently living a slower pace of life, take some time to enjoy the moment and the environment around you.

As you go through your day today, try hard to take notice of the environment around you. Is there anything that stands out to you or makes you smile or even brings you peace?

As I was eating my breakfast yesterday, I looked out of the window and I noticed  a little bird in the garden, eating some of the bread I had put out on the grass. It was a simple thing but I was able to take notice of it happening. It made me stop and appreciate the lovely nature and animals we have in our world 🙂

You may like to try some mindfulness colouring and focus your mind on taking notice of what is happening around you.

Click here for some colouring sheets.

I hope you have a lovely day today and you manage to take notice of some things that make you smile.

Post on the blog if you would like to share 🙂

Much love,

Miss Jones x

God of Creation,

I thank you for another new day.

For the warm sun shining through my window and brightening my day,

For the majestic trees and flowers coming into blossom,

For the birds up above, and their glorious song,

For the wonders outside my door,

Lord, help me to open my eyes to see the beauty all around me and the confidence to live this day anew.

Amen.

Hi Ethan, yes you’re right lots of shops are closed and the food shops that are open you have to queue for quite a while!
That’s great to hear you won your first game of Cluedo, that’s a fun game!
I’ve been trying to keep busy every day, I’ve been out in my garden quite a bit – I planted lots of seeds so I’m waiting for the lovely flowers to grow.
I’ve also been reading a lot and baking a little too ?

  5. When I go to the park I notice that all the leaves are coming out on the trees, some flowers are also blooming and do you know I even saw my first chicks of the year this morning. I love it when the sun shines on water. I realise that even if life is a bit strange at the moment the seasons are still changing and showing us lots of beautiful things in nature.

As well as the eerie silence and the flowers in bloom, I have noticed that even though there are fewer people around, they are not in so much of a hurry and they seem to be enjoying spring too…
