Be Kind Assembly

This afternoon at 14:00 all classes in the school will watch this special assembly and we hope that all the children working from home can join in and watch at the same time.

The Duchess of Cambridge will speak about the importance of mental wellbeing among children. The theme of the Duchess’ assembly is ‘spread a little kindness’ and  encourages children to explore ways in which they can show kindness and recognise the benefits of kindness to others.

Look after yourself, reach out when you need help and do your part to help those in need.

It is really important to always try to be kind. If you have any ideas about this or want to provide any thoughts about the assembly, please comment below.

Remember to end the assembly by saying our special school prayer.

Dear God,

Thank you for me,

Thank you for my friends,

Thank you for my family,

Thank you for everyone at St. Vincent’s.

Help us to be better friends,

Help us to be kind and caring to others

Help us to have an outstanding education

Help us to follow God’s way.

Together through Christ we grow and learn.

Thank you for sharing this Miss Coleman. We really enjoyed watching the assembly in Year 6 this afternoon and I hope lots of children enjoyed watching it at home 🙂
