In History we have been using research fact sheets and the iPads to find out more information about the artist, L.S Lowry. We all remembered that we need to use Kiddle to make sure it was a safe search.
We found out some information:
L.S Lowry was an artist.
He was born in 1887 and died in 1976.
He painted pictures of a Northern town. The people he painted looked like match stick men and women.
We also had fun recreating some of his famous paintings using black and white paint. We experimented with mixing the colours to achieve different tones.
