Year 3’s have been investigating light. Today we observed our shadows and how they change throughout the day. We were amazed by how much our shadows moved over the course of the day. We learnt that shadows are created when sunlight is blocked by an opaque object. During our final observation of the shadows we ended up being inside a shadow cast by a cloud above us! It was so lovely to be outside and enjoy the beautiful sunshine as well.
