We were delighted to accept the invitation to play a friendly basketball match against Hampden Gurney Primary School’s Basketball After School Club. It was a 15 minute walk to Hampden Gurney but the walk was worth it after we won a hard-fought match by a narrow margin: 14-12. We showed wonderful resilience and perseverance to come back from being 10-0 down at half time. Heads could have dropped but we listened to Coach Limahl’s instructions and with a bit of belief, teamwork and strength of character, we managed to turn the game around. Well played St Vincent’s!
Well done to the St Vincent’s basketball team as we all did really well and we showed teamwork as we won the match.Everyone should be really proud of themselves.
