We are very proud of how hard our pupils have worked this year and know that, as well as enjoying a well deserved rest this summer, many of you will want to continue learning. To give you some inspirations please see the  ideas below (with links to previous news posts).

As a Catholic school, our faith is very important. Remember to read the Bible and reflect on the teachings. To support your understanding there is a special holiday edition of the Wednesday Word available on the Blog. We really enjoy reading your thoughtful comments!

In assembly on Monday we reflected on the Gospel and said our school prayer together  and celebrated two more of our favourite activities-keeping active and  reading. Miss Gorick announced the Sports Day winners (well done St. George!) and Stephen Booth shared with us the Marylebone Library Summer Reading Challenge.  This summer get outside and be as active as possible and read, read, read!

The Department for Education (DfE) is supporting catch-up programmes and fun activities for all children and young people in England. A new website has launched which has been  designed especially for parents, with the support, information and resources they need to help their children enjoy the summer holidays and prepare for the next academic year. The site features links to programmes, activities, resources and videos to boost children’s learning and wellbeing aimed at parents of 0-19 year olds, with extra information for parents of SEND children. Find out what’s available in your area.
